Product details
Naturally sleep well with Aspero's natural blankets. Camels are found in Asia, North Africa, and even Australia, living in deserts and dry steppes. They are often used as working animals, such as for pulling and carrying loads, but they are also a source of camel wool. There are two types of camels: the dromedary and the Bactrian camel. The wool from the dromedary is primarily used for making carpets due to its coarse texture. Fine camel wool comes from the Bactrian camel, which is found in Mongolia and western China. Camel hair refers to the fur of the camel, which ranges in color from yellowish to reddish to brownish. There is a distinction between the coarse outer hair of the camel and the soft, fluffy undercoat, also known as down hair. A camel sheds about 5 to 7 kilograms of undercoat during the molting process, which is why they do not need to be sheared. The soft animal hair is ideally suited for those who sweat heavily and for sleepers with high warmth needs, thanks to its excellent thermal properties and very good moisture management. The classic transitional blanket offers warmth that falls between a lightweight and a duo duvet, but it can also be used as an all-season blanket.
