Iroshizuku inks offer a wide range of colors. The collection of these high-quality inks includes a total of 24 fascinating shades that reflect the beautiful landscapes of Japan, which is also the origin of the Pilot brand. The ink owes its special name to a combination of two Japanese words: "Iro" means color and symbolizes the high standard and color diversity of Iroshizuku inks. Iroshizuku ink is water-based, making it low in odor. This aspect is highlighted by the second part of the name, as "Shizuku" translates to droplets in German. Thus, the name Iroshizuku metaphorically represents color droplets.
