Jacques Herbin, Ink 1670 Rouge Hématite, bottle 50ml The 1670 inks from the exclusive Jacques HERBIN collection recall the founding year of the House of Herbin in the heart of Paris, where first the sealing wax and later writing inks were distributed. The intense and deep colours of the 1670 anniversary inks glow with golden glitter. In scarlet red, they fade slightly into brown thanks to their golden glitter. The Rouge Hématite ink is intense and powerful to add a touch of royalty and elegance to writing. It is reminiscent of the colour of the wax used to seal royal edicts. The ink is suitable for fountain pens, rollerballs, glass nibs and quill pens. The waxing of the closure and the seal on the bottle are made by hand in our workshops.

The 1670 collection inks, exclusive to Jacques Herbin, commemorate the inaugural year of the start of the Herbin brand, right in the heart of Paris. It was created first of all to market its sealing wax and later its writing inks. The intense and deep colours of the 1670 anniversary collection are illuminated by gold glitter. The waxing of the cap and the seal on the bottle are done by hand in Jacque Herbin's workshops. Each bottle of ink is boxed and delivered individually. Rouge Hématite translates into English as Hematite Red. Hematite is a metallic material found in rocks and soils.
