It features intelligent shredder control for smooth shredding without paper jams. This includes a safety protection system with a patented, electronically controlled safety flap in the feed, an EASY-SWITCH multifunction control element with integrated user guidance through color signals and illuminated symbols, an automatic reverse function with automatic shut-off to prevent paper jams, as well as an automatic shut-off when the shredder bin is full.

Additional safety features include an electronic door protection via a magnetic switch, double motor protection, and a zero-energy standby mode that disconnects the device from the power supply after 30 minutes of inactivity.

The light barrier allows for automatic start and stop. The intelligent shredder control indicates the current load during shredding with a smiley face on the EASY-SWITCH button.

The cutting shafts are made of hardened special steel and are resistant to paper clips, with a lifetime warranty (paper clips and staples must be removed during fine shredding of 0.8 x 12 mm and super fine shredding of 0.8 x 5 mm).
