I suspect it is due to your adapter. In our case, it is possible to use other cables, but there are actually cables that don't want to charge at all. So it's a combination of adapter (some have several slots, which also have an influence) and cable. But that is my own realisation.

Same here. With a different adapter the associated cable worked but not with every adapter. Also sometimes the cable works and sometimes it does bot. With 3rd party cables i had issues in general
