Question about Elvie Electric double breast pump
Hello My Elvie double breastpumps have lost suction. Does anyone have any tips on what I can do and what the problem is? I only have this breast pump and I am extremely afraid of getting a milk jam. I have to put the individual parts together 7-8 times and then I sometimes have a stronger suction force. Thank you very much 🙏
Had exactly the same problem. I contacted customer service and they sent me new bowls, spouts and seals. The problem is apparently known and is due to sterilisation with boiling water or steam. You would have to sterilise with cold water and tabs, otherwise the breast shells bend. I still had to get another "normal" pump because the Elvie never emptied my breasts and I suddenly had too little milk because I only pump as my son cannot drink at the breast.
