The heat cushion with oat bag provides cozy warmth and alleviates minor aches and pains. The oat bag is suitable for heating in the oven and microwave. The heat cushion is a child-friendly alternative to a hot water bottle. Additionally, the heat cushions from Sterntaler come with an integrated rattle.

Instructions for use of the heat cushion: Please read this instruction manual carefully, follow it, and keep it handy. Also, pay attention to the special notes on the oat bag itself.

Heating the bag in the oven: Preheat the oven to 75°C. Before heating, remove the oat bag from the outer cover and place it on a clean rack. Slide the rack onto the middle shelf of the oven. Leave it in the oven for a maximum of 15 minutes. Remove the oat bag from the oven and check the temperature of the oat bag before putting it back into the outer cover. The temperature should not exceed hand warmth. You should hold the oat bag in your hand for this check.

Special notes for the safe use of the heat cushions: Never use the oat bag without the outer cover for the child. The oat bag should be replaced if discoloration or burns occur. This can result from improper handling (overheating or overdrying). Only place the oat bag in the clean and dry outer cover. Store the oat bag in a dry and cool place to avoid germ formation. The heat cushion should not be used for premature infants and children under 1 month.

The oat bag is suitable for heating in the oven and microwave. When using the microwave (for example: 600 watts for about 1.5 minutes), wait about 5 minutes after the first hand warmth test and perform a second hand warmth test before placing it in the textile cover, as a temperature increase is to be expected.
