Hello Janine I had the same problem and received a replacement unit. At some point, the device could no longer be switched on. A reset did not help.

Medela recommends pressing and holding the On/Off button for 7/10 seconds until a sound is emitted in the event of charging or display problems. If nothing happens: Connect the charger → press and hold On/Off until a signal sounds, then release. Otherwise, you can also open the rear cover (screw), remove the battery and then plug it back in after approx. 10 seconds. The charge indicator ("bAtt") can be reset with the reconnection.

Perhaps a warranty case? Medela has a generous agreement with Galaxus for warranty cases in the first two years. We received a replacement very quickly and without complications.

Which conventional pump have you tried? My wife first pumped with the Medela Symphony and achieved the same results with the Medela Hands-free. Sometimes she even pumped more.

Elvie pump is fully on breast, heavier to carry in a bra. Medela’s cups are very light, the pump itself is on a cable and can be worn in a pocket or lying next to you on a couch or table. The cups are transparent - you can see the nipples and check if the pump is attached correctly. This Medela model is really good, easy to use and clean.

Hello, Gatee1308. Galaxus is awesome this way; I had a problem with mine last week too. It stopped working mid-pump and went on total blackout. I registered my concern, sent the inoperative unit to the nearest Galaxus store and received a new one the very next day! Good luck.
