How does bluon.me work?. If you find your loved one, you can hold your NFC-enabled smartphone up to the chip in the bluon.me bracelet or simply call up the web link printed on it: A web page will open, showing your contact details. It is also possible to start a call or send a text message (SMS or WhatsApp). An automatic chat guides the finder step by step through the process of contacting family members. Once the bracelet is scanned or the website is accessed, you will receive an instant notification on all your registered devices (smartphones, tablets, desktop or laptop computers) and you will be able to access the Safeguard features. This gives you access to a network of more than fifty thousand public surveillance cameras around the world. The accuracy of the localization depends on the capabilities of the smartphone reading the bluon.me wristband.
