  • How do they work? Simply put, an absorbent pad is a thin strip of fabric that you slide into the inner compartment of your Bambino Mio nappy, allowing you to adjust the absorbency of your nappy as needed. Every baby is different and there are times in their development when a little extra absorbency comes in handy.
