I have a small "icybox" with 4 hard drives. The hard drives were running in a RAID10 array. Unfortunately, the power supply to the fan has gone and I have to change the enclosure. Now I would like to buy the above enclosure to have more space.

Important: can I set the enclosure to RAID10 and put the 4 hard disks (without additional disks for now) back in without formatting/deleting the hard disks and everything running as before? (There is a lot of data on it - and if possible I don't want to restore it from the backup...)

Yes, this enclosure supports RAID 10. The manufacturer says the following about it: RAID Level: Spanning Mode (BIG), 2x Spanning Mode (BIG), RAID 0 Striping Mode, 2x RAID 0 Striping Mode, 2x RAID 5, RAID 50, 2x RAID 10. You can install the hard drives from your old setup here and it should work. However, it is always advisable to format and reinstall when rebuilding.
