The rugged Area Imager Zebra DS3608 offers above-average performance with extreme durability. Thanks to its innovative housing design and area imaging technology, it contains no moving parts. As a result, the balanced handheld scanner is nearly completely dust and water resistant (IP67) and has a drop resistance of up to 2.4 meters. This makes the DS3608 perfect for any applications in harsh indoor and outdoor conditions, even at extreme temperatures ranging from -30 to +50 °C. Whether it's standard, ER, HD, HP, or DPM barcodes, the DS3608 provides a dedicated variant for every application and quickly and reliably captures nearly all 1D and 2D barcodes at a range of up to 21 meters.

Reading confirmation is provided through practical triple feedback: two bright LEDs in the field of view, a clear tone, and a short vibration. This ensures clarity after each scan and significantly enhances user efficiency. By default, the DS3608 features a convenient multi-interface. Depending on the need, it can be connected via USB, RS232, or KBW interface.
