The CD-N301 is a CD and network audio player in one unit. In addition to playing CDs, you can also play audio files downloaded from the Internet and stored on your PC or NAS. The NP Controller App allows you to stream your favorite tracks wirelessly via smartphone or tablet. The CD-N301 supports music streaming services such as Spotify and Pandora, providing access to a wide range of music. It also supports the vTuner radio station database, enabling you to record worldwide Internet radio broadcasts by connecting to the Internet via LAN.
The CD-N301 Network CD player has virtually all your music. It is fully compatible with AirPlay, allowing you to play music from your Mac, iPod, iPhone, or iPad, as well as from your PC wirelessly. Download the Yamaha NP Controller app to operate the CD-N301 with your smart device. Source and song title selection, information, and album art are available, along with network settings.
The app is compatible with iOS (iPod, iPhone, iPad) or Android. The CD-N301 can play FLAC and WAV files at 192 kHz/24 bit, delivering the fidelity and expressiveness that only high-definition sources can offer. Yamaha's technologies, refined over many years, ensure high stability and reliability.
The carefully considered internal structure includes an independent dual power supply for the CD player and the network part. It also provides the shortest path for the audio signal, ensuring that the sound is faithful to the original without any loss. All components have been rigorously selected, including the 192 kHz/32-bit Burr-Brown high-precision DAC, which is highly regarded in audio applications. For even higher playback quality, you can select Pure Direct mode.

Sowohl als CD Player als auch auch Wiedergabegerät als Netzwerkssytem macht das Modell eine tolle Figur. Die Spielweise ist natürlich und zeigt auch beim Streamen von einer Festplatte keine Schwächen, wobei leider das Gapless Playback hier nicht unterstützt wird. Da aber der Player sehr günstig ist ist auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis exzellent.
