Product details
Optimal for use in racks and for VoIP applications. 4-pair twisted. AWG36. With a robust nylon jacket.
Cat6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz. They are used for signal transmission with high data transfer rates (1 Gbps). Due to the high signal frequencies, careful installation and assembly are essential, especially at the connection points of the wires. The individual wire pairs in Cat6 are twisted at different tightness levels, further reducing susceptibility to interference compared to Cat5e. Application areas for Cat-6 cables include voice and data transmission, as well as multimedia and ATM networks. Even more powerful are cables according to Cat6e (500 MHz) and Cat6a (625 MHz).
Wirewin Slim Tough cables - Robust, unshielded twisted-pair cable (UTP) with a connector protection. The Slim patch cables offer a significant advantage when wiring racks and 48-port switches. Their extremely thin design and high flexibility help prevent cable clutter, maintaining organization.
A Wirewin Cat6 Slim Tough cable features a flexible and wide connector protection as well as a robust nylon jacket. They are the optimal solution for connecting IP phones to your network. The nylon jacket allows for easy untangling of the cables, making them well-suited for mobile applications - for example, for connecting a laptop or as a travel companion.
AWG36. The AWG (American Wire Gauge) system is based on the manufacturing process of wires and indicates the conductor thickness of the copper wire. AWG36 corresponds to a conductor cross-section of 0.0127 mm².
