Product details
Optimal for use in racks and for VoIP applications. 4-pair twisted, AWG36, with a robust nylon jacket.
Cat6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz. They are used for signal transmission at high data rates (1 Gbps). Due to the high signal frequencies, careful installation and assembly are essential, especially at the connection points of the wires. The individual wire pairs in Cat6 are twisted at different tightness levels, further reducing susceptibility to interference compared to Cat5e. Application areas for Cat6 cables include voice and data transmission, as well as multimedia and ATM networks. Even more powerful are cables according to Cat6e (500 MHz) and Cat6a (625 MHz).
Wirewin Slim Tough cables - Robust, unshielded twisted-pair cables (UTP) with a connector protection. The Slimpatch cables offer a significant advantage when wiring racks and 48-port switches. Their extremely thin design and great flexibility help avoid cable clutter and maintain organization.
A Wirewin Cat6 Slim Tough cable features a flexible and wide connector protection as well as a robust nylon jacket. They are the optimal solution for connecting IP phones to your network. Thanks to the nylon jacket, the cables can be easily untangled, making them suitable for mobile applications - for example, to connect a laptop or as a travel companion.
AWG36: The AWG (American Wire Gauge) system is based on the manufacturing process of wires and indicates the conductor thickness of the copper wire. AWG36 corresponds to a conductor cross-section of 0.0127 mm².
