Product details

The built-in keyboard is used for entering the passcode. The USB drive does not store passwords in the computer's or device's volatile memory, making it significantly more secure than software encryption. If it ever falls into the wrong hands, it automatically locks itself and requires reformatting after the passcode has been entered incorrectly 20 times.

The Keypad-Secure interface features USB 3.0 for extremely high data transfer speeds and is compatible with both PC and Mac operating systems. The set includes a USB-A to USB-A extension cable for connecting to hard-to-reach ports. Additionally, the drive can be connected to televisions, a feature not possible with regularly encrypted devices.

For added security, the included Nero Backup software allows you to back up all files, directories, and drives on your laptop or PC at any time. You can even schedule a specific time and day for regular automatic backups. The Nero Backup software is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 (not compatible with Mac OS).
