Unabhängig. Mit Musikspieler. Klingt noch gut. Schall dringt kaum nach außen und Geräusche von außen kaum nach innen. Überträgt Umgebungsgeräusche auf Berührungsbefehl. Steuerung über Tippen, Halten und Wischen etwas fehleranfällig. Schaltet beim Absetzen ab. Kein deutschsprachiger Assistent. Mit Ohrpassstücken und Silikonhaken. Sitzt meist gut. Mit Fitnessfunktion, ohne Spritzwasserschutz.
Guter Klang, ausreichend lange Laufzeiten und nette Extras, die neuen True Wireless In-Ear Headphones haben sich im Test gut geschlagen. Und es gibt in allen Preislagen ein Angebot.
Die neue Version des Gear IconX läuft mit einer Akkuladung nur 2 Stunden, das reicht aber etwa für den Sporteinsatz. Dafür eignet er sich mit seinem Bewegungssensor prima, die Samsung Health App protokolliert Strecke und Geschwindigkeit und gibt Trainings-Tipps. Gesteuert wird Musik per Gesten, der Klang fällt eher durchschnittlich aus.
Wer sich ein Paar solide Ohrhörer wünscht, die komplett ohne Kabel auskommen und gern mal eine Runde durch den Park joggt oder unterwegs noch MP3-Musik aus der eigenen Mediathek hört statt zu streamen, für den ist die Neuauflage der Samsung Gear IconX eine gute Wahl. Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger hat Samsung die Akkuleistung wesentlich verbessert, nur der Sound hat für meinen Geschmack immer noch zu wenig...
Wären die Samsung IconX (2018) noch rechtzeitig zum Vergleichstest der kabellosen In-Ear-Ohrhörer (c’t 24/2017 S. 92) gekommen, wären sie einer der Favoriten gewesen. Kabel haben die IconX keine. Zum Laden steckt man sie in die mitgelieferte Box mit USB Typ-C und eigenem Akku. Mit diesem lassen sich die Ohrhörer in der Schatulle etwa dreimal wiederaufladen...
