Optimal watch for training with many additional smart functions and some understandable weak points (no dealbreaker)

I switched from the Polar M400 to this device. Great upgrade, no question there.

    Training:
I use the device mainly for running (city, trail, treadmill) and strength training. When running, it records everything you need.
The optical pulse measurement is also amazingly accurate. For testing, I trained once on the treadmill with the Fenix 5 plus and at the same time with the Polar M400+H7 chest strap as the gold standard (see screenshots). At rest, the heart rate measurement is fully accurate. At full load as well. Especially when warming up, there is sometimes a difference of 10-20 bpm, but this does not influence the final results.

Of course, I was able to pair my Polar H7 heart sensor with Fenix 5 plus without any problems.

For strength training, I find the timer function, which documents the sets and the rest, very useful. The repetitions aren't always measured exactly on time, but I don't mind that.

    Battery life
The times given by Garmin are completely correct. I understandably used the device intensively after buying it and still only charged it 1 week later. During a run of 2 hours with GPS (without music or maps) it uses about 10% of the battery.

    Garmin Pay
With my Cummulus Mastercard, Garmin pay works perfectly and always flawlessly.

    Garmin Connect
I was very pleased with the display of the recorded data in Polar Flow. Surprisingly, Garmin Connect is also very good, if not better.

    Combatability
Not much to do with Garmin, but I found it very difficult to transfer my data from Polar Flow. I had to use a third party app and with many attempts and a lot of effort it finally worked.

    Design
Here I have to say I regretted my choice of colour. The black colour is nice but looks like any other polymer or plastic watch. You can't tell that it's stainless steel. My acquaintances, for example, were surprised to hear that. So I recommend either silver (without the sapphire) or titanium (with the orange strap....).

    Screen
I was also very negatively surprised by the resolution of the screen and the display. Don't get me wrong, I've never had a watch like this before and was used to my Amoled display from my mobile phone.
