purchased this productDoes not work under Windows or only with a bit of luck.
I strongly advise against buying this Thunderbolt card. Getting it to work under Windows was very time-consuming and nerve-wracking. After only one day, it stopped working, even though my mainboard was supposed to be compatible according to ASUS. The performance was also more than disappointing. My audio interface runs much more stable with USB 3.1.
Contra
- Took hours for it to be recognised under Windows
- Said goodbye again after a short use
- Performance was not better than with USB 3.1

purchased this productDelivers what it promises
The card works fine as long as it is set correctly in UEFI. It is also advisable to load the drivers directly from the ASUS page (more up-to-date than on the CD supplied).
I did not notice any reduction in speed.
A mainboard with an LGA 20xx socket is probably more suitable for this card than one with a socket 115x (lanes are divided). - CapperCaffrey
