Can a monitor with DVi input be connected to a VGA output (of the GraKa)? According to some negative reviews this should not work. Scheme: Monitor-DVI->DVI cable-> DVi (adapter)-VGA <-VGA cable<-VGA output Graka

This only works if the monitor can handle the analogue input. This is not an active adapter.

I have a monitor with a VGA connection. I also have a cable with HDMI (notebook) and DVI-D connector (ex monitor). Can I now mount the part in between so that the monitor works?

Can I use it to connect my Mac Pro, which has a DVI port, to my monitor, VGA? I realise that I still need a normal DVI cable. But does it work like this?

who can read ;-) VGA male / DVI female, for connecting a DVI monitor to a VGA port on the graphics card.
