So the Tactiles are comparable to Cherry MX Browns while the Speed are probably linear switches like Cherry MX Red. Therefore, the Speed should certainly be quieter. I have the Tactiles and they are not exactly quiet, but not extra clicky like Cherry MX Blue would be. I can definitely recommend Tactile for writing, but for gaming it's a matter of taste.

Hi Tino Have you already updated the firmware? It was like that after an update, I updated it again - then it worked again.

It requires Windows 7 software to use this fully so rather less recommended to use this with the mac.

I use the *Titan SwitchTactile* which runs well and is comfortable to type on. It was recommended to me and I am really satisfied :) I can not say more
