Hello, I saw in a comment for this product that the software was no longer available and that the keyboard could therefore not be used with lighting. I wanted to ask if this is true, as I am considering buying this product and would find it a shame if the software was no longer available?

Helpful answer

The software is called Roccat Swarm. I still had an update according to the file date on 11.12.2024. On the website, the download page is empty, but the page still works https://support.roccat.com/s
When I deactivate the ad blocker on the page, I am redirected to the download from Turtle Beach. There it is now called Turtle Swarm.
I don't know if the Turtle software works. Otherwise, Roccat Swarm is still available for download on various portals, but not the latest version. Unfortunately, I can't tell you whether you can still update it. The updates were often just cosmetic, security updates at best. I didn't notice any differences.

if you've probably got an answer on the software and lightshow side, I'd like to draw your attention to the fact that the great quality of this keyboard is the tactile feedback of the keys, it's unique, special and that's what makes this model such a success, whether you're a solid gamer, the king of chat or simply for your mail, this keyboard is worth a try ... and I hope you have a lot of fun with it!

One more addition: I have now downloaded and installed Turtle Beach Swarm II. Does not recognise my Vulcan 121 Aimo. The software redirects me to Turtle Beach Swarm I that I downloaded on it. The file is called ROCCAT_Swarm_1.9475.0.0_v2.zip and is also Roccat Swarm. So it is available after all. But the keyboard is not brand new. On 09.08.2022 I paid 119.00 for it. I find the key wonderful for typing. The lighting is also great. I haven't programmed it much, just a combination of keys to put the computer into sleep mode. I have of course adjusted the lighting to suit my taste.
