You can connect any active speakers, either via the front headphone connection or the RCA connection on the back. A great option would be the Edifier R1700BT 2.0 Under following link you will find more speakers with the above-mentioned features.

Yes, with actives. The manufacturer describes it like this You can play the sound via the integrated loudspeakers and, if required, connect a hi-fi system as required.
