From the information we have, it seems that the two models are similar. However, the 600NE version is more recent and would benefit from a more powerful DAC for superior audio quality as well as a higher output power of 70 watts per channel (compared with 60 for the PMA-600).
The PMA-600NE is also said to be generally more expensive at the time of writing.

I have applied :)
I'm an Apple Music user, and I can stream Apple Music to my phone and pipe it to the amp via Bluetooth, no problem. So Spotify should work as well.
