I find it strange that the black model is 500 CHF more expensive than the silver version. Above all, this is only the case at Digitec. At other retailers, you can get both models for the same price. Are these oversensitive dynamic prices or what?

Hello, the black model is more expensive at the moment because the dealer is "Das Warenhaus". This determines the more expensive price. The device is only available through digitec or similar.

Do you have any information when the problems with the HDMI 2.1 chip will be solved...will there possibly be a Rev. 2 variant in the future?

Definitely take the Denon 3800H, it has been technically revised and improved in many points, especially with regard to HDMI 2.1. And the X3800H now also comes with DIRAC Lite calibration system (announced for 2023) and also supports Auro 3D. And the X4700H has just one 8K input, while the X3800H supports 8K on all six HDMI inputs.
