Denon introduced an expanded box some time ago.
This now has 3 HDMI 2.1 inputs instead of 1.
In Germany, you can get it at a greatly reduced price if you are affected by the HDMI incompatibility.
Here in Switzerland you have to talk to the dealer.

I just asked Denon today, they only refer to their FAQ page where there is nothing about what will happen in the future.

Unfortunately, we do not have any information on this. Regarding the Rev 2 variant, you would have to ask the manufacturer directly.
