Hello
I recently bought the Virtuose. I wasn't aware that it had ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) (I didn't find anything on the Corsair site itself).
I definitely didn't have a storage bag with me (but I don't miss it either). According to the Corsair website, this is included in the "SE" version, as you have already written.
Many greetings
Roman
The headset has a sleep mode. If you don't move it (depending on the setting) for 10-15 minutes, it switches to sleep mode, even when charging. If I then take it off and put it on, it switches on again automatically because of the motion sensor.
To charge it, I plugged the charging cable into a USB adapter (230V -> USB) so that it always charges when I switch off the PC.
The mobile phone and console use a four-pin 3.5 mm plug. This not only carries the stereo audio signal, but also the microphone input. However, most PCs use two separate 3.5mm jacks for audio and microphone. So if you plan to use the headset with the cable and neither your mobile nor your case has this four-pin connector, you will need an appropriate adapter.

However, it is clearly stated on our website that we can never guarantee a delivery time. A logistical problem at the warehouse, a delay from the supplier, a delay in shipping or a problem with the delivery can always occur.
In fact, it's not so much the diameter as the thickness of the padding on the ear. It is indeed too small and after a while you feel discomfort or pressure on your ears. I have somehow come to terms with this: take the headset off your head now and then and everything is OK again. The quality of the sound and the incredibly good microphone outweigh this. I won't give the headset away again, especially because of the mute button on the microphone.
Unfortunately, I can't help you directly because I don't have a PS4.
But have you already updated the latest firmware version for the headset (and dongle) via ICUE on the PC?
Maybe it works better if you use a different USB port.
However, I would recommend NEVER to play via WLAN. If there is no LAN in your room, you can buy a poweline adapter....
Actually very satisfied with the headset until a few days ago.
I've had the headset for about half a year now, and well, the dongle no longer works. It doesn't connect and in the iCUE software I only get an error message without any indication. Also, when I put the headset into wireless mode, it shuts down and runs out of battery. When I put it back into USB mode, it says "Charge complete". Unfortunately, the alleged fix from Corsair itself did nothing at all :(
Maybe someone can help me, if not I would be interested if I can get a replacement at Digitec or if this only works via Corsair.
Thank you.
I have the same device and know your suffering. There are many who have to struggle with connection problems, metallic and crackling sound. The Corsair forum and other forums are full of such tales of woe.
Perhaps there is now a sustainable solution for your problem:

Search terms: connection loss, connection drop, connection issue
I was also experiencing constant wireless dongle connection drops in combination with a metallic and crackling sound. After a few weeks of problem-free operation, these problems (I assume) occurred after the Windows 10 update to Build 1903.
Solution for me: Clean Windows 10 reinstallation on an empty partition without (!) subsequent installation of iCUE. Of course, some people don't want to do without these features, but for me the operation with the "standard software" of Windows is sufficient (sound and microphone work without problems in both USB and wireless mode).
Btw: Corsair promises to have these problems under control with almost every new iCUE software. The forum posts paint a different picture. For me, this broken software will not be used again for the time being.
Another hint: Your USB hub only has a limited number of so-called endpoints. A device does not necessarily use only one endpoint. The Corsair Virtuoso occupies 5 (!) endpoints in USB mode. If you occupy all available endpoints or even more than the available ones due to additional USB devices, you run into a resource shortage and Windows starts to prioritise the endpoint resources independently (and according to my observations constantly). If your wireless dongle has to walk the plank, you will inevitably experience disconnections (and as long as no resources are allocated to the dongle, you will not be able to reconnect).
Note 1: Even a plugged-in USB cable (without a connected device) can occupy endpoints under certain circumstances!
Note 2: An external USB hub (whether powered or unpowered) is not a solution to this problem, as it does not give you more endpoints (only more USB ports). I suspect (haven't tested it myself) only a PCI-E USB card could expand the USB endpoints.
You can check the number of endpoints a device occupies with the following software:

Good luck with solving your problem! Don't waste too much time with it, a return and refund of the purchase price is justified enough in my eyes, with reference to the many and varied problems (see Corsair forum).
This headset supports Windows surround sound. For me, if I lose the connection to the computer because I'm walking around the flat with the headset, for example, I hear that it resets the EQ. In other words: I don't think you can set the headset to "bass boost" etc and then continue playing on another device with the same settings. However, I could be wrong about this and it can be saved on the headset after all.
Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to test a direct comparison.
Dear Community
I have been using the Virtuoso (not SE) for about a week and have the following problem:
I'm currently playing CoD Warzone and whenever I connect the USB dongle, it interferes with the PS4's wifi connection and the game freezes or I fly out. If I interrupt the headset connection to the dongle, it works again.
My questions:
1) Is there a way to fix the problem? I have to say that the router is one floor up, but I never had any problems before I connected the new headset.
2) Alternatively, I wanted to connect the supplied AUX cable to the PS4 controller, but then only the sound works, but not the microphone. Is this the case? If so, are there alternative AUX cables or adapters?
Greetings
