Battery life is definitely no worse than the mkIII. I use the grip and have never had to change the batteries when shooting 500 - 1000 frames in a day. The raw files are also much better once you stop Lightroom setting contrast at -20

Canon offers the third year after registration and Digitec has nothing to do with it. If you do not register after purchase, the normal two years apply. Digitec has always had the extended warranty through them.

Not all, no. Canon uses two different bayonet mounts, EF for full-frame cameras like the 5D, and EF-S for APS-C cameras like the 700D. EF lenses can be connected to EF-S cameras, but not vice versa. So when you switch to the 5D, only those of your lenses that have an EF bayonet will work (the 18-55mm kit lens, for example, will not work, it has an EF-S bayonet).

Sali David I would recommend the same to you :) especially in the sports area you already have a better result with the 5d. I'm also thinking about upgrading to the Mk4 but I don't see the point. I'll have to think about it, maybe you'll be interested in my mk3 ^^ It "only" has 16000 resolutions. ;)

The cheaper version is an EU device and therefore has no Swiss warranty. This means that the more expensive model has: Canon Swiss warranty 3-year premium warranty (1-year Euro and 2-year Swiss warranty) - Registration on Canon CH website - Registration deadline: 2 months after date of purchase.
On closer inspection, I would think that it is primarily the price that is different. But that's really just a guess ;)
It's probably just the price difference. I bought the EU model. Everything is perfect and works as it should.
There is only one Canon brand lV! One is a kit with lens, the other is an EU import. However, I would rather go for the newer line from Canon are lighter

The EU version was not imported via Canon Switzerland. It is therefore a grey import.
