if it is intended for CANON EOS yes...there are different "mounts"...

The Sigma is designed for APS-C cameras and does not cover the full format of the EOS 5D IV. You can then only use the inner part of the image field, the rest remains black. In addition, you can only use the spot metering reliably. All in all, not a suitable combination.
