Your colleague is basically right. The PS4 Pro does not have an option to output a 2560x1440 resolution. Furthermore, you cannot benefit from the 144Hz. So in principle not optimal and basically an overkill. PS: If you effectively only intend to use a PS4 Pro with a display, I recommend a 4K TV, which usually also support HDR.

Yes, I think you can, but the 4k won't do you any good. You only have a 2k resolution. Unless you scale it up with Nvidia, which is not always recommended.

So give a signal from one monitor to the next? I don't think this is possible, they are signal inputs and not outputs. Check out this product: CSL 2-Port 4K HDMI Splitter

Hi No, you should not have any disadvantages. Adaptive-Sync supports 10** and 20** series graphics cards. Nvidia released an update in January 2019 that supports compatibility between Nvidia and Vesa. Adaptive-Sync is a Vesa tool that adjusts the refresh rate of the monitor to that of the graphics card, thus avoiding screen tearing (misalignment of 2 or more frames, which can lead to blurring). FreeSync is from AMD and the same as Adaptive Sync. I hope I was able to help you. But I am not 100% sure about everything. Please correct me. :) LG

The question is now a little older... I will therefore answer in general terms. Your eyes will generally thank you if you lower the brightness as much as you don't mind, and it will also reduce backlight bleeding efficiently. Another such setting would be to reduce the blue a little (as soon as it appears yellowish it is too far). I always leave the other colours at maximum (currently: red=100%, green=100%, blue=91%) This setting is of course not necessary, but I find it much more pleasant, even if you are sitting at the PC in the evening and it is thinner. Otherwise, everyone perceives it differently, so just play a little with the contrast until it's the nicest for you. I ended up with 80%. I can't say anything about the perfect settings for this monitor, but I hope the information was helpful anyway. The best thing would really be to just tweak the slider until it looks nice to you.

Without G-sync, there is a risk of tearing. I have a GTX 1080 Ti and so far I haven't noticed any disturbing effects in Battlefield V. But if you want to be on the safe side, get a monitor with G-sync :-)

Hello Motitz In order to deliver 144fps in 2560x1440 to the monitor as much as possible, the GRAKA can hardly have too much power in modern games. My 1080TI OC barely manages 144fps in the latest games, on highest settings, grass foliage etc. FreeSync is of no use with Nvidia GRAKA, but with 144fps it doesn't need it anymore.
