Can I use this Freesync monitor with a Gtx 1080 ? Fas Yes are there any disadvantages ?

Of course you can use this combination. There are no disadvantages, except that you can't use Freesync. With a 1080, you shouldn't need so much G-Sync (from Nvidia) anyway. This is only useful if you often have low FPS. That's when it really catches up with the frame rate.
