Pro-Ject Pre Box DS2 Digital

The advanced Pre Box DS2 Digital is a universal and flexible preamplifier and D/A converter of the highest class. The built-in AK4490 D/A converter, from high-end manufacturer Asahi Kasai Microdevices, offers five different digital filters to customise the sound to your preferences. It offers full DSD256 support and upsampling of all digital inputs to 768kHz. This results in high-resolution sound reproduction with a rich sound spectrum and bass presentation with far less distortion. Five digital inputs are available, as well as one high-level and one phono input. The Bluetooth receiver provides full aptX support for wireless sound. Therefore, the Pre Box is ready for any available source. A variable and a fixed analogue output as well as another to connect a subwoofer are available. The sample rate converter (AK4137) can be controlled via three settings (sound modes).
