Pro-Ject 2Xperience SB

The 2Xperience SB is based on the 2Xperience belt drive concept, which incorporates over 20 years of our experience in turntable design. The addition of a precise motor control with electronic speed switching and a 9cc Evolution tonearm made of carbon significantly enhances sound quality. The heavy turntable chassis is made from resonance-free MDF. The platter is a precisely balanced sandwich construction made of heavy and non-resonating materials. A vinyl layer serves as the perfect record mat. The lightweight and screwable record clamp prevents unwanted vibrations from the record and rumbling from the platter bearing. The sound reproduction benefits from the resonance-free platter, as the effects typically associated with metal and glass platters are avoided. The 2Xperience SB is not only equipped with a high-end tonearm but also comes with a pre-mounted Ortofon 2M Silver MM cartridge with silver coils. An acrylic dust cover is included. Three real wood veneers (eucalyptus, walnut, rosewood) and three high-gloss finishes (olive, mahogany, black) are available to choose from.
