Information regarding memory configuration: The following technical specifications should be considered in advance: The device can accommodate non-ECC UDIMM (without Error-Correction-Code), ECC DIMM (with Error-Correction-Code), or RDIMM (Registered DIMM) RAM. RDIMM memory is recommended for achieving large memory capacities. The different memory technologies (non-ECC UDIMM / ECC UDIMM / RDIMM) must not be mixed. If a memory upgrade is to be made with the existing RAM, it must be verified which memory technology (non-ECC UDIMM / ECC UDIMM / RDIMM) is currently in use. The device can install RDIMM (Registered DIMM) or LRDIMM (Load Reduced DIMM) RAM. LRDIMM memory is recommended for achieving large memory capacities. RDIMM memory modules cannot be mixed with LRDIMM memory. If a memory upgrade is to be made with the existing RAM, it must be verified which memory technology (RDIMM / LRDIMM) is currently in use.
