The Fidelio T1s each have separate transducers for bass and treble, which pays off. The in-ears delivered the best sound in the test. Unfortunately, the excess weight and the construction that protrudes significantly from the ears make them uncomfortable to wear. In addition, the clunky charger case is a drawback in the B grade.
The Philips Fidelio T1 are premium in-ears. This is not only evident in the steep price, but the sound also surpasses most of the competition and is really very good with its clarity and strong bass. The same goes for the well-functioning ANC, the long battery life and the comprehensive selection of in-ear attachments...
Even with the Philips Fidelio T1, the otherwise clear voice struggles with clearly audible background noise during phone calls. The heavy and protruding design can also be annoying. On the other hand, the in-ears have an excellent sound and effective noise reduction.
In the test, the Fidelio T1s were particularly convincing with their sound. They sound more natural and clear than the competitors. Despite their size, however, there is no volume control on the earpieces. And the chunky case looks smart, but hardly fits in a trouser pocket.
A look at the comparison protects you from making a bad purchase: the foam earplugs of two new models were heavily contaminated with pollutants, another pair of headphones failed the drop test.
