The micro:bit Single is sold in retail packaging and includes a micro:bit as well as a quick start guide. What is the BBC micro:bit? The BBC micro:bit is a single-board computer originally developed solely for educational purposes. Due to high demand, this DIY computer is now also available on the open market. The mini computer, measuring 4 x 5 cm, is aimed at both beginners and experienced makers alike. The board is already equipped with a 5x5 LED matrix for output, as well as a magnetometer and a 3-axis accelerometer. Additionally, it features Bluetooth®, two programmable buttons, and 20 input/output pins. This means you can get started on your first projects without needing to buy additional electronics. On the micro:bit's own website, you will find support in the form of tutorials and exercises.
