Es muss nicht immer gleich der ganz große High End Sound sein? Ein universal einsetzbares All-in-One-System wie der Melody X von Marantz kommt da gerade richtig. Alles, was das Streaming-Herz begehrt, ein CD-Spieler und 2 mal 60 Watt Ausgangsleistung – ein toller Spielpartner fürs Multiroom-System oder als Zweitanlage im Schlafzimmer.

Wir kannten schon vor dem Hörtest den Anspruch von Marantz beim Melody X und von Definitive Technology bei der Demand D7 - wir waren also auf einiges gefasst. Was dann aber an Präzision, Neutralität und Spielfreude geboten wurde, ließ uns staunend zurück. Gerade der trockene und tiefe Bass wusste regelrecht zu begeistern. Dies Anlage würde man preisbewussten Freunden und Bekannten empfehlen.
