The phase plug and the compressed, shaped silicone surface ensure a consistent frequency response. This combination results in the cleanest and most natural sound available. The second generation of the Reference Premiere enlarges the horn for a wider soundstage and improved directivity. Two input terminals for bi-wiring and bi-amping capability. Bi-wiring separates high and low frequency currents into separate speaker cables, reducing intermodulation distortion for a clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for individual customization with external crossovers when using separate amplifiers. Equipped with audiophile terminals and easily accessible aluminum connectors for any type of connection. Finishes include ebony and walnut vinyl with satin-finished baffles and scratch-resistant surfaces.
