The phase plug and the compressed, shaped silicone surface ensure a uniform frequency response. This combination creates the cleanest and most natural sound available. The second generation of the Reference Premiere enlarges the horn for a wider soundstage and improved directivity. Two input terminals for bi-wiring/bi-amping capability. Bi-wiring separates high and low-frequency signals into separate speaker cables, reducing intermodulation distortion for a clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for individual customization with external crossovers when using separate amplifiers. Equipped with an audiophile terminal and easily accessible aluminum terminals for all connection types. The finishes include ebony and walnut vinyl with satin-finished baffles and a scratch-resistant surface.
