Product details

Enjoy your record collection quickly and easily. Connect your portable speakers, soundbar, or headphones in no time via Bluetooth to play your vinyl wirelessly. And all this without compromising on sound quality thanks to aptX HD encoding. Your records will sound just as good as with a wired connection. The JBL Spinner BT features analog outputs for existing HiFi systems as well as a built-in phono preamp for use with active speakers.

With its aluminum platter and tonearm, the JBL Spinner BT perfectly expresses your love for music and vinyl records. Your records are played at the perfect speed of 33 ⅓ RPM for LPs or 45 RPM for EPs and singles. The speeds are locked for perfect pitch using a speed sensor. The tonearm is equipped with a high-quality Moving Magnet cartridge that comes pre-installed on a removable headshell, making it easy to swap and upgrade. The feet are dampened to reduce unwanted vibrations that could disrupt your listening experience. This way, you get the best sound from your records without wearing them out.

  • PositiveGood workmanship
  • Positive Stable Bluetooth connection
  • Positive Balanced sound
  • NegativeLoud clicking push buttons
  • Negative No USB connection
  • Negative No volume control

The spinner may look a little rough, but the sound is not. If you are looking for an easy-to-use record player with good sound and want to stream music wirelessly in good quality, the JBL is a complete package at an attractive price.

  • PositiveUnmistakable design
  • PositiveSound-neutral, stable Bluetooth transmission with aptX HD
  • PositiveAutomatic limit switch-off
  • NegativeTonearm bearing has play
  • NegativeSounds quite dark and lacking in detail with a standard pickup

The above comparison with Pro-Ject and Rega is a little unfair. Because the sparring partners are purist turntables with an absolute minimum of features. While the JBL scores points with a limit switch, integrated preamp and an excellent Bluetooth transmitter. If you value these features and can use them sensibly, you can forgive the Spinner BT for missing out on some sound potential...
