Maximum protection for your data. The diskAshur 2 USB 3.1 SSD is an ultra-secure, PIN-authenticated, hardware-encrypted portable hard drive. Using the device couldn't be simpler: connect the integrated USB cable to a computer and enter a 7 to 15-digit PIN. Once the correct PIN is entered, all data on the drive is decrypted and accessible. To lock the drive, simply disconnect it from the host computer, and all data stored on the device will be encrypted with military-grade 256-bit hardware encryption using AES-XTS (full disk encryption).

One of the unique underlying security features of the GDPR-compliant diskAshur 2 is the dedicated, hardware-based secure microprocessor (CC EAL4+ capable), which utilizes integrated physical protection mechanisms to guard against external tampering, bypass attacks, and more. The device responds to an attack by switching to a frozen lock status. Simply put: no access is possible without the PIN!

No loss of speed. As fast as unencrypted drives. Auto-lock: The diskAshur 2 automatically locks when it is unplugged from the host computer or when the power supply to the USB port is disconnected. It can also be set to automatically lock after a certain period of inactivity.

Wear-resistant, epoxy-coated keypad: Security played a significant role in the design of the wear-resistant, epoxy-coated keypad. The button operation remains concealed, preventing potential hackers from gaining clues about frequently used keys.

Self-destruction feature: You can pre-program the drive with your own unique self-destruction PIN. Immediately after entering this PIN, the encryption code, all PINs, and data will be deleted, and a new encryption code will be created.
