The GEWA Novita 3.0 is a five-string electric violin featuring European craftsmanship, precise construction, and reliable performance characteristics. This instrument maintains classic violin dimensions, with a black satin finish that highlights the natural wood grain. The violin body measures approximately 60 cm in length, adhering to standard violin proportions for familiar handling and playing comfort. Constructed with a solid maple neck, the Novita 3.0 includes high-quality components such as Wittner fine-tuning pegs, a Wittner Zurich chin rest, and a Wittner tailpiece for stable tuning and responsive playability. The instrument is strung with Larsen Aurora strings, optimized for electric violin performance. A key feature is the bridge-mounted piezo pickup system, which captures string vibrations directly and delivers clear, detailed sound reproduction, suitable for practice and performance situations. The electronics include an Aux input for playing along with external audio sources, and the output can be switched between headphone and amplifier mode, depending on the playing situation. The violin weighs approximately 650 grams without accessories, making it comfortable for longer playing sessions. It comes with a universal adapter compatible with standard shoulder rests for personalized playing positions. The five-string configuration offers an extended range compared to traditional four-string violins, with the additional low C string expanding musical possibilities.
