Fostex TH909 headphones

The Fostex TH909 features an open design that builds on the closed design solutions of the TH900MK2. The TH909 retains everything that characterized its predecessor while offering remarkable space and a fantastic soundstage. It provides a wide dynamic range and low distortion thanks to the use of 50mm drivers with 1.5 Tesla magnetic systems. The incorporation of Biodyn in the diaphragm material results in rich bass, natural midtones, and exceptional clarity in the highs. The headphone construction utilizes double-etched materials, which eliminate resonances and create an impressive appearance.

The outer shells of the ear cups are produced in the Sakamoto Urushi factory, which was established 110 years ago, giving them a unique character. The high-quality cable is made from 7N OFC standard copper (99.9999%). The cable connector is made from premium duralumin and is detachable. High-quality 7N wires are also used inside the headphones. A balanced connection is possible with an XLR cable that protects against scratches and corrosion.
