Product details
The optics from Extreme Networks undergo thorough testing and are subject to a comprehensive qualification process before they are considered certified to work in the IO modules and switches of Extreme Networks. Only proven, qualified vendors are selected to provide a complete optical solution. Depending on the customer application and required range, various 1000 BASE SFP optics are available. Each optical interface operates and is managed like a fixed port, but offers the customer the flexibility to swap or change different types of optical modules (e.g., SR, LR, ZR) during operation.
