Ernie Ball Slinky Extra

The foundation is formed by the legendary Slinky Nickel strings, made from a tin-coated steel core wrapped in nickel-steel. The wrapped strings are coated with a micro-thin and extremely durable layer that protects against rust and susceptibility. As a result, the strings last up to five times longer than untreated strings. The unwrapped strings are coated with a rust-resistant layer and additionally reinforced at the ball end with a titanium wrap to prevent breakage in that area. Thanks to the titanium wrap, the strings maintain their tuning better than conventional strings.
