The Eastman E-Series / Traditional Series is based on the legendary steel-string guitars from the so-called Golden Era before the war. In this series, you will find only traditional body shapes such as Dreadnoughts, OMS, OOO, and OOS. The E8OM features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides, a three-piece mahogany neck, ebony tuning keys, and hand-carved details. This package of high-end specifications, combined with the compact body, results in a good balance between a stable bass and a clear top end. This makes the E8OM a distinctive guitar capable of both intricate fingerstyle and flat picking. In fact, it is very similar to the legendary OM21 or OM28 in terms of specifications, and in this price range, we consider the E8OM to offer the best value for money. The drying process of the wood is accelerated using heat to achieve a more resonant and dynamic sound quality, as if the guitar had been played for years. Additionally, this treatment gives the spruce wood a very nice, dark, antique appearance. The guitar comes with the original case and a certificate.
