Dunlop Hetfield's White Fang Custom Flow Picks

As one of the greatest riff masters of all time, James Hetfield needs gear that performs as outstandingly as he does – picks included. When he approached Dunlop in search of a pick that met his high standards, we worked closely with him to develop a solution that matches and even enhances his performance. We started with the Flow Standard Pick 1.0 mm. The thrash titan put it through a series of tests and came back to us with the optimizations and adjustments he needed to get it just right. First, we incorporated the beveled edges of the Black Fang Picks for a super-fast attack with clear articulation, ensuring that every note and chord cuts through all that speed and gain. Next, we made it slightly heavier, at 1.14 mm – not typically available in the standard Flow pick range – for the perfect balance between mass and articulation.
