Product details

This docking station expands your notebook's capabilities through the Thunderbolt 3 port (USB-C) by adding extra ports for peripherals, networking, and external monitors. Additionally, it can power your notebook via the Thunderbolt connection used. Benefit from enhanced security and management features such as slots for various standard cable locks, as well as PXE and WOL support.

This variant comes with a 180-watt power supply and a Thunderbolt 3 connection module/cable. This ensures data connectivity with the dock while also powering the notebook. Dell notebooks can be powered with up to 130 W. Notebooks from other brands can be powered with up to 90 W thanks to the Power Delivery 3.0 standard.

The host interface module, which comes pre-equipped with a Thunderbolt 3 connector, can be replaced— for example, with the USB-C dual connector module (not included) for devices with higher power requirements. So, when upgrading your notebook fleet, you don't need to replace all docking stations; you can simply adapt your WD19 docks with the appropriate host interface.
