EFT15 Flat Top strings combine D'Addario's popular extra light gauge with an exclusive precision polishing process for a smoother, quieter playing surface. They are excellent for recording or playing with a slide. D'Addario Flat Tops are round wound and then precisely polished, resulting in a smooth and semi-flat outer surface. This creates a smooth, flattened playing surface without sacrificing the excellent tone and sustain properties associated with phosphor bronze strings. Flat Tops significantly reduce finger noise and are outstanding for recording and flat-picking.
