The shaking eggs in the set of 6 come in the colours yellow, pink, green, blue, brown and black. They are filled with small beads that produce a rattling sound when shaken, just like the popular Latin American maracas - at a different altitude for each colour. Maracas are rhythm instruments that are particularly popular in Latin American music, such as rumba, samba and bossa nova. The use of maracas in kindergarten and school is obvious, but also as a group activity, for example at children's birthdays or children's parties, because the shaking eggs encourage children to make music and experiment with rhythms for the first time. The children learn to follow the different sounds, playfully combine the shaking eggs and play melodic rattle sequences.
